As a Filipino, it is inevitable for me to keep track of the latest news, movies and updates on Philippine show business. Lately, there was this hit movie entitle “Unofficially Yours” which was starred by two of the most celebrated actors in the Philippine entertainment industry—John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. I have never really thought that this Angel-Lloydie tandem would click in a movie with a romance-comedy genre. I watched the movie myself and it was indeed a great one! No wonder that people patronized it so much to the point that it lasted to a month showing in the cinemas.

It was my daily habit to have that cup of coffee in the morning. May it be brewed or instant; a cup of coffee makes my day! However, I was able to discover that there is another product in the market that could probably be my morning best friend—Kopiccino! Kopiccino is an instant cappuccino mix that you can have anytime anywhere. It was my friend, Melchie, who first introduced the product to me and I kind of liked it because the sweetness is just enough and the bitterness of the coffee is just so right. Although the caffeine content is not that much compared to black coffee, it’s okay because it suffices to keep me awake the whole morning.

Two nights ago, the three of us (my mom, my dad and I) had our dinner at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). I was so excited that day because I was craving for their Chicken Steak Meal. If you are a patron of KFC, you would surely know about this meal. On a personal note, there is really nothing special about the chicken steak. It is just the ordinary fried chicken without the bones. But what makes it more special is the mushroom gravy that they smother on top of it.
I seldom enjoy eating because I am always on diet 24/7. However, that night was an exception. I really enjoyed my meal to the bones!

Another week had passed and it was time for my friends and I to have our weekly session. The last time I wrote was about our badminton session which ended up with a dinner at Kyla’s Bistro. But this week’s gathering is another milestone of our healthy lifestyle.
We started joining aero dance classes this week and we started liking it. We now want to make it as a habit, aside from playing badminton. The four of us are not really that fat, but we just wanted to burn those calories from the food that we eat. Besides, it’s better to sweat out after 8 hours of being stuck in an air conditioned room. In fact, we had a feast-like meal afterwards. It was a carb-packed meal paired with a protein-rich viand. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

My aunt who works abroad used to bring me home a pure leather wallet. And because it’s pure leather, it lasts for a long, long time. I don’t really intend to replace it because I’m not oozy when it comes to wallets and similar stuffs. However, I have this officemate (our company nurse) who owns a very cute wallet. I got intrigued and asked her how come her wallet is very slim. And so she told me that she bought it from her friend and that it’s called a “candy wallet”. And because I fell in love with it, I also asked to buy me one. And not, I kept my leather wallet and I’m now using my blue candy wallet.

It was a fine morning when I arrived early at the car pool pick-up station. It was ten minutes before seven in the morning and it seems like my tummy is mumbling with hunger already. I was wondering why because it was too early for me to eat. My usual breakfast time is at seven-thirty in the morning and I eat breakfast in the office. Then I realized that I was starving. Good thing one of my male officemates brought with him a box of puto rice that was meant to be shared to everybody. He saved me from another hyper-acidic morning!

Glitter Slippers are very attractive to the eyes. But sometimes it’s quite annoying. It is the latest hit in the fashion industry nowadays and many girls seem to be captured by its attractiveness. I know a lot of girls using it lately, most especially that one of my officemates sell that kind of slippers. But despite my annoyance, I still ordered for myself—A size ten that is colored gold. I’m so excited for my glitter slippers to arrive.

Kare-kare was one of my favourite Filipino dishes. It is a dish that is made of oxtail in peanut sauce. The most delicious kare-kare for me was my mom’s kare-kare. And then I discovered the kare-kare from Rio’s where I also loved the way the sauce was flavoured. But I had a recent discovery with kare-kare. We had a caterer at the office which makes one of the most delicious kare-kare in the whole world. Since then, I called the dish as “Kare-kare ni Mang Kadoy” because as what my officemates told me, they haven’t tasted any kare-kare like Mang Kadoy’s! It was just really one of a kind!
