This article is an update of an autograph question “what is your most embarrassing moment?”. I used to right so many stupid things as an answer of such question before. But since I had that embarrassing but funny moment at the airport, I think that was the most embarrassing moment I had so far (and I hope that would be the last!).
I was homeward bound that time from Cebu. And I didn’t expect that my aunt would make me bring so many pasalubong for my family and my extended family, especially for my granddad. I was bringing a huge (very huge) paper bag as I enter the departure area of Mactan International Airport. As I checked my baggage in, the huge paper bag was left to me because I intend to have it as a hand-carry luggage. But as I walked to the waiting area, I was surprised when an airport staff came near me and insisted that I should also have the paper bag checked-in. I really got so embarrassed as passersby stare at me as if I’m some criminal or smuggler that is caught in the airport. Good thing the airline staff came into the picture and I was able to compromise with them and they were also kind enough to hear my opinion. My flight went well and I came home with a lesson learned with me.

Marela Fashion Shop is my second comfort zone lately. It is where I buy my corporate clothes that I use when I go to work. It seems like it is my second closet.
What I love about this place is that their fashion trends are always updated. Especially with the corporate clothes that they sell, it is assured that it is classic but trendy at the same time. Plus the fact that they sell it very affordable prices, no girl could resist buying their products.
Now, it has been one of my hobbies to check out their multiply account from time to time to check if they have new stocks. You really have to extend extra efforts for one to be able to buy their products because it is always sold out. I am one of their avid customers for more than a year now. And I could attest that their products are of good quality at a very reasonable price.

During my childhood days, I learned to love bread through my granddad. Together, we used to munch over pan de sal as a snack in the morning or in the afternoon. I got used in eating ordinary bread without any jams or spreads with it and it has become a personal favorite through the years. I never really liked “sugary” or sweet breads.
Lately, I discovered a new bread favorite. We Filipinos call it “ensaymada”. It is one of the most delicious sweet treats that I learned to love lately. At times, when I no longer have the luxury of time to eat breakfast at home, ensaymada would always be my breakfast. It’s sweet, it’s fluffy, it gives one energy and most of all, it’s yummy! Not to mention, it’s very, very affordable!. It comes in different flavors and presentation. But my personal favorites are the cheesy ensaymada and the ube (purple yam) ensaymada. If you come across some fluffy and sugary bread with a soft dough texture, then you can’t be wrong. It’s none other than my favorite snack/breakfast treat!

Pure-blooded Filipinas, like me, are born with golden brown skin. You can seldom see a Filipina who is fair-skinned. And if you are able to see one, chances are, she’s only half-Filipina or her skin is a fake—takes oral or injectable glutathione.
And because of our fate, most of us are very much willing to do everything and spend so much just to whiten our skin. For those who are quite well-off, they would opt to use injectable glutathione to make the whitening process faster. While for those who are not, just like me, we settle for the less effective, but cheaper procedure. For now, I use kojic soap as bath soap.
Kojic soap is a soap made of acids that would remove dead skin cells. Thus, it brings back the most natural color of our skin and it gives our skin a different kind of glow. However, when we speak of melanin production, Kojic soap cannot dictate our body to decrease the amount of melanin it produces just like what glutathione products can do.
