Just Another Day

They say that the only way to heal chicken pox on kids is to just leave it alone because the immune system will heal your body. And the only thing that you should watch out is from the blisters to be scratched. But scratching is inevitable because the blisters are so itchy. Doctors said that using Calamine Lotion will help soothe the itchiness. And I guess it’s true because when I was a kid, my mom used to put calamine lotion on my mosquito bites so that I will not scratch it. It is cheap so it’s okay if you want to spread it all over your body.

My father really hated it every time I get wounded when I was a child. He gets angry and scolds me to death. I don’t know why but he explained to me why when I reached the age of ten. He told me that he doesn’t want me to have scars. I have a naturally tanned skin that he treasures most and he doesn’t want it to look blemished with scars. That is why whenever I get wounded or I get scratched, he would always tell me to put Sebo de Macho on it so that it would not leave traces of scars and keloids.

I used to hate the smell of preserved pickles when I was a kid. Especially the ones those are included in a hotdog sandwich dressing. I just got surprised when I grew up and I started loving preserved pickles, especially when it’s mixed with mayonnaise and spread in between two toasted loaves of bread. I made an experiment yesterday by mixing pickles with mayonnaise and mashed eggs. I spread it to a pair of wheat loaves and viola! “It is the perfect egg sandwich in the world!” – My brother little said.

We had this van at the office which serves as a “carpool” for us employees. It would pick us up in the morning and drop us off in the afternoon. But there are times when I get to miss the carpool and I have to take a taxi to work. And it would cost me a lot of money if I try to accumulate my taxi expenses every month. And because of that, I promised to myself that I’ll try to rise early now so that I will not be late anymore and save my taxi expenses.
