Lately I was trying my very best to become mature. I try to act differently from the “old” me. In fact I stopped posting non-sense things on my facebook wall; instead, I post quotes and sayings that are full of wisdom, inspirational and meaningful. Last Monday, when we had our mini farewell for our officemate at McDonalds, my attention was caught by their new McFlurry. They called it “McFlurry Overload”. It is called such a name because they overloaded it with lots and lots of crushed Oreo cookies! I wasn’t really able to resist the temptation. I ordered a serve and the taste really didn’t change! It even improved! I’m pretty sure that I’m having my next McFlurry Overload next pay day!

The only constant thing in this world is change. It’s a sad thing when one of your officemates bids farewell when you know that he can become an asset to the company.

Last Monday, we bid farewell to the company’s technical secretary. We spent a mini farewell party for him at McDonalds as a tribute for his service to the company. We talked to him with a light feel to make him feel that it isn’t the end of the friendship that we started at the company. He also got the best pieces of career advice from our seniors who were also shocked with his urgent farewell. The night ended with smile and thank yous and lots of pictures! Pictures that prove the friendship among us that would surely be for a lifetime.
